New RK Series Magnetostrictive Transducers for internal cylinder: even the smallest sizes guarantee high level performances!
The fruit of Gefran research, the RK series overcomes this limitation and, with a unique product, makes it possible to achieve various levels of complexity and performances that can be adapted to different application requirements. The basic model (RK) has extremely small sized electronics integrated in the head of the sensor. Various advanced functions and options are available, however, by adding remote electronics to the basic model, thereby providing an evolved interface.
The basic RK model is designed to integrate the two types of interface, depending on the model: one is provided with a start/stop signal, and another model will soon be available having a simple integrated analog output. The other versions comprise the RK with start/stop output connected to remote electronics that make it possible to manage the type of interface desired: analog (RK-A) or CANopen (RK-C). The RK-A analogical version offers a wide range of outputs with voltage (0..10 VDC, 0..5 VDC) and current (4..20 mA, 0..20 mA) supplied, while the RK-C version offers a CANopen standard interface.
